• My game will only come on in Black and White, or it was in color and now it is only in Black and White
  • This can be caused by incompatibility with software of game and the TV/VCR.
  • Try a different TV or connect directly through the TV instead of the VCR.
• Why will the game not let me make a selection?
  • This is generally due to the game being locked up.
  • To correct, reset the game.
• Why is my game frozen on the screen?
  • It is likely the batteries are low.
  • Install new batteries.
  • If problem persists, reset the game.
• Why will the game only work for a few minutes and then shut off?
  • It is likely the batteries are low.
  • Install new batteries and reset the game if problem persists.

TV Baseball

• What is the difference between models 8017 and 72042 baseball games?
  • Model 72042 will allow you to play different cities.
  • Players in the field have been added to Model 72042.
  • Model 72042 shows batters stats (HR's, RDI, Avg.).
• How do I pitch the ball?
  • The ball is used only in the competitive mode.
  • The screen will prompt you to select the pitch and to make the throw.
  • The ball contains a motion sensing switch that you must activate by moving the ball in a "throwing" action.
• Where do the batteries go in the bat?
  • The batteries are inserted at the end of the bat.
  • Remove the screws, then twist to unlock.
  • Insert positive ends of batteries first on both batteries
  • Be sure to tighten screws after replacing the cap.
• How do I get out of a game that is in progress?
  • Model 8017 has a restart button to return to previous menu. You can also turn the power off and back on to restart unit.
  • For Model 72042, use the "O" button to return to the previous menu, or you can press the power button to turn the game off and then press it again to restart the game.
• Can I increase the speed of the pitching?
  • Only the pitch you pick and the pitcher chosen determine the speed of the pitch.
• Why can't I hit the ball, I am only getting strikes?
  • Be sure batteries are inserted properly in the bat.
  • Be sure to swing the bat directly over the plate.
  • Move plate out of direct sunlight.
  • TV/VCR/DVD remotes may interfere with the game if activated during play.
• Where does the AC Adapter go on the game?
  • At the back of the base unit where the wires from the ball and AV jacks are attached.

TV Hunting

• Why can I not hit any of the targets?
  • Play TV Hunting does not work with Projection or Flat Screen TV's.
  • You may need to calibrate your gun. Press "Calibrate" and fire at the center of the target. For Model 8074, you will need to fire six shots at the target. For Model 73030, you will only need to fire one shot.
• Where do I insert the batteries?
  • Please locate the label on the stock of the gun that says, "Unscrew side panel to open battery door".
  • Insert 4 new AA batteries. We recommend alkaline.
• Is the scope adjustable?
  • The scope is not adjustable, but the gun can be calibrated so that a hit is scored when the sight is centered on the target.
• How do I find the animals?
  • Just like real hunting, you must look for signs.
  • You will see pictures of nests, droppings, and hoof prints when you are near an animal.
  • Once you have gotten to that area, switch to the hunting mode and use the call button or food button on the bottom of the screen and wait for an animal to appear.
  • The trick is to stay in the navigational mode until you get an icon or hear footsteps before switching to the hunting mode.
• The gun will not shoot when the trigger is pulled.
  • Be sure to cock the gun between shots.
• Why can't I move with the safety off during the walking mode?
  • In regular hunting safety, you should never walk with the safety off. We have incorporated the same feature into this game.

TV Snowboard

• What is the weight limit on the board?
  • The weight limit is 180 lbs.
• I can't get the unit to select a play. It will toggle between games but will not select one.
  • Lean back on the board or push the rear button.
• How do I change the feet on the bottom of the base?
  • The feet can be changed by twisting the foot clockwise to remove and turn them over.
